Hello! I'm Max, and the furry (furrier) guy beside me is my best mate Occy. We have been near on inseparable for the best part of the past 12 years now. During that time we have shared in some incredible highs & Occy has supported me through some devastating lows. After recently finishing a journey that took 3 years and had us overlanding from Canada to the base of South America, traversing 17 different countries in our DIY camper, we are now back exploring different ways of living in our homeland Australia.

A little about me. I grew up on 5 acres outside a small inland country town in rural Victoria. From a young age my parents encouraged me to use the natural world around me as my playground & instilled in me a love for animals, travel and adventure. I've been privileged enough to spend time in 40 different countries & feel like I grow a little with every new culture I experience. I strongly believe that there are many more ways to live this life than what is considered the norm and that getting back to nature is imperative for the future of this planet.
A little about the king. Occy is an 11 year old Aussie shepherd. However, even those that own one question it. This is because he is extra thic & wooly, and he has some very unique mannerisms. Occy spends his days living his best life & his nights cleaning himself like a cat.
He has been to 18 countries & his favourite thing in the world is riding shotgun on road trips.
I don't think there are many beings out there that have made more people smile than Occy.
He is the best.
