Hello! I'm Max, and the furry (furrier) guy beside me is my best mate Occy. We have been near on inseparable for the best part of the past 14 years. During that time we have shared in some incredible highs & Occy has supported me through some devastating lows. After recently finishing a journey that took 3 years and had us overlanding from Canada to the base of South America, traversing 17 different countries in our DIY camper, we returned to our beautiful home country Australia where I am now renovating an off-grid cabin deep in the Australian rainforest.
After 14 years buy my side and countless adventures, Occy sadly passed early this year but his memory lives on us 💛

Hello! I'm Max, and the furry (furrier) guy beside me was my best mate Occy.
We were near on inseparable for the best part of the past 14 years until he sadly passed away earlier this year.
During that time we shared in some incredible highs & Occy has supported me through some devastating lows.
After finishing a journey that took 3 years and had us overlanding from Canada to the base of South America, traversing 17 different countries in our DIY camper, we are now back exploring different ways of living in our homeland Australia.
Currently renovating an OFF-GRID cabin in the Australian rainforest.
A Little About the King
Forever on my mind. Forever my best mate.
Occy was my best mate and brought me more joy then can be put into words. An Australian shepherd. An adventurer, a rock to lean on when times got tough.
Occy and I were inseparable from the day I picked him up as a pup to his last moments by my side at 14 years of age.
Together we covered countless kilometres, beaches and belly rubs, venturing to 18 countries along the way.
I don’t think there are many beings out there who made as many people smile as Occy did.
He truly was the best and his memory will live through me and those that followed his journey long after he is gone 💛
